Install Prerequisites
- GCC
A recent version of the GCC development tools is required for running OpenInterface. Please refer to the installation page for your operating system to set it up.
- Java Development Kit (JDK)
If you plan to integrate Java components, you will need to install a recent release of the Java Development Kit (JDK). Note that the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) will not suffice, as you will need to compile the Java components. Please visit java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp if you need a JDK.
- Matlab
If you plan to integrate Matlab components, you will need to install a recent release of Matlab. You can buy one from Mathworks.
